Autochartist
Chart pattern recognition, scanning, and alerting software. I use it everyday. It’s a second set of eyes that scans the market for opportunities for me. You can sign up for a three 21-day trial and also get the INTRO video series to help you get started. I think the six videos are great. (but then again yours truly recorded them…) By the way, I’m also the Chief Market Analyst for Autochartist.
Baby Pips
I have been a fan of this site for a while and it’s actually the place I recommend all forex newbies go to learn the basics. I am a contributor at the site and it’s the blogs there that will take you from the basics you learn in the Baby Pips School to the more advanced and varied set ups you can learn the Blogs. I am “Queen Pipopatra” at the site (hey these guys DO have a sense of humor!) so feel free to read up on what is going on at the Baby Pips “Chartology” blog.
eSignal Trading with the Masters
From my experience (over 15 years) the best charting and data available to individual traders. It’s broker independent and is a respected data provider. It’s my main charting and if you were to walk into my office you’d see four monitors with my eSignal layout spread across them. You can try it for a month and see what you think, call my personal rep and friend Scott Wilks at 1.800.322.1819 or email him.
EZ2Trade Software
This my personal software and also my software website. Since it’s mine I can tell you that the software offered there is a luxury and not a necessity. It originally was developed because I wanted a way to speed up and increase the accuracy of my chart analysis so I had a plug designed to automate support, resistance, trendlines, candlestick patterns, Fibonacci, Pivot Points, my Wave, minor highs & lows, and some other things. It’s an eSignal Premium Add-On so it works on eSignal only. You can call Scott at 1.800.322.1819 about it and he’ll give you half off the first month.
By the way EZ2Trade Software videos are Official Content over at Daily Motion. Do be sure to check these great videos out.
FXStreet Chartology
My trading blog over at the popular forex hub. You can find my weekly webinar playbacks there. The webinars are FREE so I encourage all of you to check it out if you can. It’s held each Tuesday at 11:00am EST. You can register to attend here.
IBFX
I am the Chief Current Analyst at InterbankFX and write a daily blog called the “Daily Trading Edge”. It’s a mix of market commentary, education, and instruction so there value there regardless of your trading experience level.
StockTwits and StockTwits TV
The trading community keeps home-based, private traders like me from talking to the television and going insane. We like to share our ideas and opinions and StockTwits is a perfect way to share and see what other traders are doing. If you’re on Twitter (like me) and wonder if there is any *productive* use for it, download the StockTwits Desktop. It’ll rock your world. As of April I have a weekly show on StockTwits.TV called “Forex EDU” which as the name implies is a forex and trading education program. I will begin a second weekly forex and futures show in mid-June as well as AM Forex daily which will be a quick morning recap of forex trading action.

Raghee,
I watched your one hour video recorded on 08/20/2009 at one of the websites, may be ez2tradesoftware.com, and liked the depth of thought, your teaching and trading styles. Are you giving any seminars in NYC area at financial Expos? You mentioned in video you trade “yourself”. Are you fan of or looking into any fully “automated” systems? Programming for MT4 or beta MT5 ? Did you explore Tradency.com approach where they take “experienced” traders advice and built trading robots? Any thoughts on ThinkOrSwim.com “automation” approach where they bring together their clients, own platform, and accept third party signals to trade clients money in automated fashion? These are just a few questions that came to my mind after watching your video. Your feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks,
Kon
Hello Kon,
I do attend the New York Traders Expo each February. Sometime I just go to see what’s new and see old friends and other times I am invited to speak.
I am a discretionary trader however I am a great fan of automating my trading tools. My trading is executed automatically or by a system. I am too much of a control freak to go fully automated – it’s just not the way I am wired.
