GRaB plug-in is now available.

by Raghee Horner on January 20

“GRaB” charts are a visual cue to let you know at a glance whether prices are trading witin, above, or below the Wave.  It works on the MT4 platform and as far as I can tell any version of the MT4 platform.  This is nothing more than the same color coding that has been a part of my eSignal plug for about seven years.  it’s not a system or antyhing like that…let me be clear about that…although certainly there are system ideas that could be devised from price movement up and down through my Wave.

I’m not customer support and I’m certainly no MT4 expert so if you need to know how to use indicators on your MT4, check the help and support docs.  After unzipping the file, I put the “Raghee’s Indicator.mq4″ in the “indicators” folder.  You can find this if you go into you C: drive –> Program Files –> MetaTrader (or whatever version of MT4 you are using is called) –> experts –> indicators

Thanks to Mistigri.net for the MT4 programming.

I am not sure…I have a programmer for MT4 and eSignal…but don’t have one for VT. I can’t imagine it’s a difficult code though since the indication needs to be aware on only of closes above the 34EMA high, below the 34EMA low, and within the two…I’ll let you know if one become available!

Hi Raghee,

First of all, thanks for the GRaB plugins. I’ve enjoyed the bolder appearance it brings to my MT4 platform.

In recent classroom chats I’ve heard you mention that that certain market conditions are, in so many words, better suited for CCI analysis. Since CCI came with the plugin, I wonder if you would expand on which market conditions you use CCI in your analysis. Up to now, I’d been using it to confirm my momentum trades (+/- 100 for long or short).

Thanks!

Duane

Duane, the CCI is used for the short transition set up, so you’re looking for a two to four o’clock market cycle.

The plug in is for the MT4 platform Dean. But MT4 is a free charting platform you can download from http://www.metaquotes.net.

Hi, I’m running esignal forexcharts and would really like to add GRaB as you’re explaining it in your book, “forex in five.” How do I set that up? I have set up wave, but would like to have the visual of the GRaB as well. Any guidance would be appreciated.

On your youtube videos, how do you get the grab tool to show above the EMA green and below it red all the time like you have?
